Miramistin is an effective antiseptic ointment for topical and external use. It helps fight infections of various origins, including fungal and bacterial infections.
Indications
In surgery: in the first phase of wound healing, it is used to treat infected wounds of various locations and origins (wounds after surgical debridement of purulent foci, pressure ulcers, trophic ulcers, suppurating postoperative wounds, fistulas); in the second phase of wound healing, it is used to prevent reinfection of granulating wounds.
In burn support: for the support of superficial and deep grade II-IIIA burns and frostbite, and for preparing burn wounds for autodermoplasty. In dermatology – for the treatment of streptococcal and staphyloderma, candidiasis of the skin and mucous membranes, athlete's foot and large skin folds, including dyshidrotic forms and forms complicated by pyoderma, and dermatomycosis of smooth skin.
For the prevention of wound infection complications – in minor industrial and domestic injuries.
